My name is Jon Hurley. I teach martial arts, have worked as a police officer, went overseas as a military contractor and I'm married. I'm currently a little over weight and trying to get back into shape. I enjoy DnD and RPGs in general so using that format as a way to motivate you to get back into shape appeals to me. I'm really looking forward to getting the rest of the game fleshed out so we can be our own character in a game. I look forward to this site growing and getting into some good conversation on this and other topics.

Great to have you onboard, man. I really mean it. You've helped me a lot so far just getting to this stage.

I'm Ken Grover and have been looking for a good way to get myself back in shape and improve myself as a person in general. I'm currently a stay at home father of two and am back in school for computer programming. I had gained 80 lbs or so after I stopped working and was already a little over weight before that so I'm starting with a large goal in mind. I also want to improve other aspects of myself and getting back into school was the first step in that quest. I'm big into RPG gaming both video games and tabletops, so this seemed like a lot of fun and a perfect format to use to track my progress in my journey. I filled out my character sheet and will be starting at level 2 lets see how high I can get.

Here is my sheet for anyone interested.

Welcome, Ken.

Nice to see a new person on here to talk about the project and share progress with! Grats on lvl 2! On to lvl 3!! If you have any questions let me or Josh know. If you have any suggestions post your thoughts and Josh will consider them. He has a good idea of where he wants to take this, but he is very good at looking at new ideas as well.

Great to see you on here, Kenny. Tony was telling me that you'd taken it pretty seriously. Let's see if we can make this big.

Glad to be here Josh, its been a while, and this has already been great for me. I was dealing with a similar situation being home with my two kids during the day and not working. I was actually getting pretty depressed. Getting back into school helped a bit because I at least felt like I was doing something, but being home all day still took a toll on my body physically. I got up to nearly 300 pounds and I'm only a little over 5' 9". Since starting this I have picked up C25K and 100 pushups and am already making some decent progress. I have also lost 10 lbs so far. Its also given me the motivation to start picking up some of the other things I was training for mentally and physically. I with you, lets make this really big.
